Thank you, tribe
On 15 August, you joined us at Agia Triada Beach for the first KAMAYA. Thank you for coming, for dancing, and for giving First Signal its beginning.
Putting on a first edition means asking people to take a chance on something they haven’t experienced yet. You made that choice. Some of you came with your friends. Others travelled to Cyprus or arrived on your own. Together, you made a dancefloor that felt welcoming from the first hours through to the last set.

We’ll remember the beach changing as the sun went down. The faces turned towards the decks, the hands above the crowd, the moments when a track caught everyone at once. After months of preparation, seeing people enjoying the music together was what mattered most.
To the artists: thank you for the care you put into your sets. For knowing when to build, when to hold back, and when to take the room somewhere unexpected. You gave the day its shape, from the afternoon by the water to the final hours under the lights.
To the crew, our partners, and everyone working across the site: thank you. The sound, the lighting, the bars, the entrances, the build and the clear-up all depended on people putting in long hours. Much of that work happened outside the audience’s view. We saw it, and we’re grateful.
And to everyone who has sent a message, shared a photograph or told us about their experience: we’re listening. There is plenty to carry forward and plenty to learn as we plan what comes next.
For now, we want to give this first gathering its moment. You were there at the beginning. That will always mean something to us.
With love,
KAMAYA
When music finds its tribe.
